Welcome to 1st and 2nd grade! We are a very busy classroom full of excitement for learning!
During the year, 1st and 2nd graders will strengthen their reading and math skills, learn about the world around them, and most importantly, grow in their faith in their Lord Jesus Christ. We will also make time for fun--playing, making art, singing songs, and building relationships.
My name is Mrs. Renee Manian. I am blessed to be a part of the staff at Samuel Lutheran and to teach your children. I have been teaching for 16 years. I grew up in Wisconsin and was blessed to attend a Lutheran grade school and high school. I attended Martin Luther College and graduated in 2003. My husband, Adam, is the pastor of St. Johns and Peace Lutheran Churches in Vesta and Echo. We have three children--Sam, Anna, and Seth--who all attend Samuel. We also have one dog and two rabbits. I love to read, make art projects, go running, and take bike rides with my kids.
I'm looking forward to a great year, guided by the Lord and filled with his blessings!
